Aspediens partners with CipherCloud to deliver Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) capabilities in the EU

Aspediens, a solutions partner of ServiceNow, has selected CipherCloud, the cloud visibility and data protection solutions provider, as the cloud access security broker (CASB) of choice for its European customer base.

The partnership will accelerate roll-out of cloud security controls that help enterprises address the data privacy, security and sovereignty challenges of transferring sensitive data across national boundaries. In addition, deploying the CipherCloud platform can help enterprises comply with the EU's 2016 Data Protection Regulation and mitigate against more stringent breach penalties.

"As one of the leading ServiceNow partners in Europe, we strive to build the best-of-breed experience for our customers," said Alex Broggi, CEO, Aspediens. "Partnering with CipherCloud allows us to offer customers enterprise-class visibility and protection across clouds. Together, we are removing the data privacy, security and sovereignty risks that can often de-rail cloud projects. This brings ServiceNow customers the best of both worlds – allowing them to benefit from the many advantages of cloud services while maintaining a level of security traditionally associated with on premises computing."

"We're pleased to deepen our partnership with Aspediens given their tremendous expertise in ServiceNow customer integrations," said Jeroen Blaas, General Manager of CipherCloud Europe. "We look forward to increasing our regional go-to-market activities. Together, we're providing European organisations with the solutions and on-the-ground support they need to protect personal data across multiple clouds. As the recent Safe Harbour ruling illustrates, in the age of cloud mistrust, enterprises need to take more control over data outside their four walls."
