SATO, the global provider of Auto-ID solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, will showcase its latest solutions for the postal, courier and express industries at this year's POST-EXPO (stand #1090), in Paris from 29 September to 1 October. Highlights include SATO's NX series of industrial thermal printers and the fast and reliable CG4 label printer for post offices.
SATO works with leading logistics companies worldwide, offering reliable and efficient solutions across the parcel delivery supply chain. Designed for intuitive operation, easy integration and industrial strength durability, the NX series is ideal for warehousing and supply chain logistics and easily configurable and scalable for global deployments. The printer offers elite processing power, throughput speed, and memory capacity and is extremely easy to set up and maintain with tool-free print head and platen replacement, enabling delivery companies to increase uptime and efficiencies with printing shipping labels.
Alongside SATO's NX series, the CG4 series of label printers has been designed with the postal and courier industry in mind. It offers high speeds up to 101 mm/s and user-friendly features for easy operation and maintenance as well as high quality print resolution (305 dpi) to ensure clearly legible parcel labelling.
Also on display are SATO's MB2i series of lightweight mobile printers which have been designed with ease-of-use and easy media and battery loading. They are available with multiple communication interfaces, and offer delivery drivers a quick and reliable method of printing notification labels in case the recipient of the parcel is absent at the time of delivery.
SATO also specialises in the conversion and supply of environmentally-friendly labelling solutions, and its Linerless labels which are recognised for their cost and multiple 'green' advantages will be another key highlight at the SATO stand. SATO's Linerless labels are produced without using release liners which means they have minimal waste impact and zero landfill costs. With up to approximately 40% more labels per roll than liner-backed rolls, Linerless labels reduce reel changes significantly, enabling logistics companies to increase productivity and production uptime while reducing warehouse storing space at the same time.
