Wirecard and Drillisch sign mobile payment cooperation agreement

Aschheim (Munich). Wirecard AG and Drillisch AG, both of whom are listed on the TecDAX index of the German Stock Exchange, have agreed a strategic cooperation in the field of mobile payments. The cooperation agreement provides for network-independent telecoms service provider, Drillisch, to offer Wirecard's "boon" brand mobile payment solution, which will be launched in summer 2015. The new service will be marketed by Drillisch's two subsidiaries, etelon AG and yourfone GmbH.

With more than two million customers, Drillisch AG is one of the major network-independent telecom service providers in Germany. Operating as an MVNO, Drillisch compiles packages of flexible services based on its own product ideas and offers customers with its affiliated companies and brands a comprehensive portfolio of innovative products and services in the voice and data service sector.
