Varlink, the specialist IT distributor based in York, has announced the launch of the L130/135 Series of high performing rugged tablets to its MioWORK portfolio. The tablet is designed for the retail environment, as well as field force automation, utilities and emergency services.
Featuring an impressive 10.1" WXGA 600 nits capacitive multi-touch screen with active digitizer, which enables fast typing speed, picking up even the slightest touch and is highly responsive without the need for pressure. Its programmable hotkeys allow faster accuracy for key functions and application.
The Android™ 4.2.2 tablet, which is ideal for enterprise use, boasts an array of attractive features, including impressive connectivity options with dual-band Wifi for use on 5GHz enterprise networks, BluetoothÒ 4.0 +EDR and the optional integrated 3G ensuring field workers are always connected. It is robust with an IP rating of 67, 1.2 metre drop spec, MIL-STD-810G certified and is submersible to 1 metre for 30 minutes in water, offering true protecting of the initial investment.
The L130/135 Series has a Cortex-A9 Dual-Core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory with an expandable MicroSD SDHC up to 32GB. It features a battery life up to 8 hours and a hot swappable battery ideal for 24/7 demanding shift usage. It is also equipped with optional professional 1D and 2D scanning facilities, an integrated rear 5.0MP camera with flash and a front 1.2MP camera as standard, plus a 3.5mm jack and microphone.
The L130/135 Series supports access control using smartcard authentication with an in-built NFC reader and HF RFID tag reader. Mobile Device Management solutions, available as an optional extra, allows full control over applications, encryption, connectivity and more on single or group use level.
Also available is the MioCARE variant of the L130/135 tablet designed for use in Healthcare, featuring a protected polycarbonate disinfectable seal that can withstand being wiped with alcohol solutions for infection control. Its wide range of connectivity options provides healthcare workers with the tools they need to retrieve patient data, view lab results in real-time and communicate with team members using the integrate cameras and microphone.
The L130/135 Series comes with 12 months warranty as standard with the option to extend.
