Toshiba UK boosts SMB offering for resellers with Enterprise Nation membership

Toshiba UK is increasing its support for channel partners with the expansion of its Toshiba Recommends programme for SMBs. It will now include a free three year membership to Enterprise Nation, an online hub and community that offers support to businesses and entrepreneurs.

Enterprise Nation provides multiple benefits, including free expert workshops, as well as a 25% discount on business classes and books. The membership is open to customers of all resellers offering the Toshiba Recommends product range to SMBs.

"We are delighted to be enhancing the benefits of Toshiba Recommends for SMBs," said Santiago Alviar-Baquero, Head of SMB and Distribution for Toshiba in Northern Europe. "SMBs are a vital part of the economy, and generate around half of UK jobs. With 500,000 new businesses created last year alone[1], we understand the importance of reinforcing our SMB proposition in the channel. This addition allows us to broaden the level of service we are able to provide both SMBs and our partners, providing greater access to a range of industry insight and support."

The Toshiba Recommends product range offers an array of options suitable for SMBs, including the Portégé Z930 business Ultrabook and the Tecra R950-1EL business laptop. The new Enterprise Nation membership adds to several pre-existing benefits of the Toshiba Recommends initiative, worth over £200. These include, including three year Gold on-site warranty, three year support from UK call centres, free next day delivery within the UK, and a free power adaptor and carry case.

Toshiba Recommends already presents SMBs with tremendous support, and we at Enterprise Nation hope that Toshiba's SMB customers can benefit from our membership as much as they do from the existing offering."

The initiative will be supported by an online and press advertising campaign specifically targeting the SMB market, which will run until 31st March 2014.

The partnership with Enterprise Nation is also the latest example of Toshiba's dedication to supporting its SMB resellers through strong solutions and initiatives, and follows on from previous programmes such as the Get Modern campaign, designed to raise awareness of the benefits of upgrading from Windows XP, and last year's Desktop Scrappage Scheme. It is also an expansion of Toshiba's pre-existing partnership with Enterprise Nation, which sees it participate in the Marketplace and Growth Vouchers scheme, with £30 million in subsidised business support on offer from the government.
