Maxatec is responding to retailers who are looking for suitable wireless printing solutions to use with Apple iPad systems. With the advent of iOS in retail the obstacle has been the ability to print directly at the point of service. With the Maxatec MT-200E desktop WiFi printer, the bottleneck has been cleared enabling retailers to enhance service levels, which is increasing footfall and business.
"One of the issues with iOS retail applications has been printing a receipt or copy of the customer transaction at the point of service. The Maxatec MT-200E is a high performance direct thermal receipt printer with WiFi connectivity. It is one of the easiest desktop printers to install and setup as there is no need to drill holes in walls for network cables or cause disruption on the shopfloor. It will print reliably at speeds of 200-mm per second and features drop-in paper loading and adjustable (50 to 82.5 mm) paper widths. This is a fully flexible printer suitable for high volume receipt printing applications in the retail and hospitality sectors.
