Toughshield appoints Arnaud Fessard and Giuseppe Luchesa as country managers and Patrice Deniau as pre-sales engineer as it expands its sales operations in Southern Europe and North Africa.
Toughshield, the global provider of rugged enterprise devices, has appointed two new country managers and a pre-sales engineer as it continues to expand its operations across Europe and into North Africa. Arnaud Fessard becomes Country Manager for France, Iberia and North Africa and Giuseppe Luchesa is to be Country Manager for Italy and will also support Arnaud Fessard in Catalonia; both report to Stig Hansen, Commercial Director. Arnaud Fessard will also be supported by Patrice Deniau who joins the company as Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical support to customers and application partners during all stages of the sales process.
Fessard joins from Honeywell where he was Vertical Sales Manager for France and Iberia having originally joined Metrologic in 2002 (later acquired by Honeywell). Prior to that he worked in sales in the construction industry in France. Luchesa joins from Dacom Spain where he was Business Development Manager and Sales Manager having previously held a number of sales and technical support roles in the mobile and AIDC markets including eight years as Country Manager and Managing Director of Psion Italy (now Motorola). Deniau joins from Honeywell where he was Project Manager specialising in mobile products having joined the company when it was Metrologic. He has worked in the enterprise mobility sector for more than 20 years including spells at Datalogic and Percon Europe.
Commenting on his reasons for joining Toughshield, Fessard said: "The AutoID market is characterised by expensive, low flexibility products; the enterprise market now demands something different. Enterprise customers are now much more like consumers and expect to be able to benefit from new mobile technologies as soon as possible to ensure their businesses perform as well as they can. Toughshield can move quickly to respond to customer demand for rugged products with a consumer look and feel and I look forward to helping the company to grow its business in France and Spain."
Echoing Fessard's comments, Luchesa said: "Toughshield is very well placed to capitalise on the growing need for ruggedised smartphones and PDAs. Importantly Toughshield is more agile than the big operators and can respond more quickly to customer demand for rugged devices that address enterprise business needs. I am delighted to be part of the Toughshield team tasked with growing the company's operations in Europe and look forward to introducing Toughshield products to new markets in Italy and Spain."
Stig Hansen welcomed all three appointments saying: "Arnaud, Giuseppe and Patrice join us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the enterprise mobility market. I am sure they will all make a very positive contribution to the future success of Toughshield as it takes advantage of the rapid growth of enterprise smartphone adoption."
These latest hires follow the appointment in September of Holger Sponholz as Country Manager for the DACH region and Stig Myhre as Country Manager for the Nordic region.
