BlueStar, the global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, will host its annual VARTECH educational and tradeshow event in San Antonio, Texas, from September 9th through the 11th. This will be BlueStar's first VARTECH hosted in Texas and will utilise San Antonio's River Walk urban sanctuary as part of the event experience.
"The POS and ADC channel has seen a variety of changes over the last several years," said BlueStar's Vice President of Marketing Mark Fraker. "VARTECH is the premiere event for value-added resellers and other independent software developers to gain industry insight and adapt to these changes, with new opportunities to experience the best and brightest solutions the channel has to offer."
New to the 2013 VARTECH US/LATAM event are the Solutions Showcases, which debuted earlier this year at VARTECH Canada 2013 in Quebec City. These fully-interactive, immersive areas on the CodeZone show floor provide total access for resellers to see complete solutions in action across a wide variety of applications, from Retail and Hospitality to Healthcare, Restaurants to Warehouses. BlueStar has also overhauled their Solutions Sessions Workshops to focus on helping reseller partners get the most insight on total solutions for sales results.

In addition to its signature training and networking components, VARTECH US/LATAM 2013 San Antonio will host activities at Knibbe Ranch, one of Texas' oldest operating cattle ranches, as well as at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk Hotel and the Henry B. BlueStar has produced VARTECH events for more than a decade, and it has quickly grown to be one of the most highly anticipated and widely attended events in the technology solutions channel. Recent VARTECHs have previously been held in Quebec City, Canada; Miami, Florida; Toronto, Canada; Berlin, Germany; Birmingham, UK; and aboard a Bahamas cruise ship.
VARTECH has also expanded to include multiple global events in the VARTECH Educational Series, including Pan-European and Latin America Technology Summits, as well as regional road show events across North America. BlueStar hosted more than 30 events worldwide in the VARTECH Educational Series in 2012, with more than 3,000 attendees total across the globe.
