ScanSource becomes Motorola Authorised Training Centre

ScanSource POS and Barcode, the pan-European value-added distributor of automatic data collection, POS and mobility solutions, has announced the launch of a number of training courses as a result of its recent agreement with Motorola Solutions to become an Authorised Training Centre (ATC) in Europe.

ScanSource, under its training and education programme, ScanSource University, will offer technical training courses around Motorola Wireless LAN and Mobile Computer Devices which are aligned with Motorola's PartnerEmpower Programme. Participating resellers will therefore be able to receive the relevant certification exams that are required to reach Specialist or Elite Specialist status in the two technology areas of the programme.

Courses will be scheduled for delivery on a quarterly basis and initially hosted at ScanSource's principal training centre locations, those being office premises in Brussels, Cologne and in the UK (Crawley, Egham and Hull). Courses will be delivered in English, French, German and Dutch. Towards the end of 2013, ScanSource plans to offer courses in other countries across Europe.
