Maxatec launches new brand of rugged IP65 tablet PC

Maxatec has launched the new range of tablet PCs from Sewoo  The new BluePAD brand from Sewoo brings real differentiation to the marketplace, and is enhanced by Sewoo's reputation for excellent reliability and high performance standards.  The BPR-100 is a rugged IP65 rated tablet PC featuring a sunlight readable industrial  10.4" XGA (1024 x 768) TFT LCD display with resistive touchscreen and a robust membrane keypad. A low power Intel X86 chipset and the hot-swappable dual Li-Polymer battery means the unit will run shift after shift without recharge or docking.  The rugged tablet PC is offered with either Windows XP embedded or Windows 7 embedded and memory can be expanded up to 2GB to cope with any mobile computing tasks.

Suitable for use in virtually any application requiring a rugged tablet PC, the device is already used in many warehouse management, retail, logistics, manufacturing, point-of-delivery and point-of-service applications.

The BPR-100 increases efficiency and productivity by allowing the user to complete data processing tasks electronically and accurately in the field using its advanced touchscreen functionality.  Options include integrated barcode scanner, numeric membrane keypad and docking station. Connection to local network is via WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth.  Immediately available with GSM/CDMA and GPS, the BPR-100 is the first release in the UK market from the new BluePAD range from Sewoo. The BPR-100 boasts up to 32 GB on board SSD providing ample data storage.  Entirely cased in a slip-proof rubber casing over a metal chassis and with a handy carrying strap, the BPR-100 is able to take all the knocks in the most demanding environments.
