PFU 'Scan-to-Share Information' at CeBIT

Fujitsu subsidiary PFU Imaging Solutions will demonstrate how it is transforming the CeBIT motto "Shareconomy" into reality at Stand GO7 in Hall 3. The European market leader in document scanners for professional applications has chosen its own slogan for its appearance at the world's premier IT show: "Scan-to-Share Information". Even in the age of mobility and cloud computing, it is only through scanning that paper documents can be transformed into digital information and shared anywhere at any time. The motto "Scan-to-Share Information" follows the PFU concepts "Scan-to-Process" and "Scan-to-Cloud" as the company continues to provide the seamless integration of paper-based information into electronic workflows and applications.

Together with its business partners Kofax, silex technology and softgate, PFU will present its extensive Scan-to-Cloud and Scan-to-Mobile solutions. In addition to its main stand in Hall 3, G07, PFU will also be represented at the Fujitsu Technology Solutions stand A28 in Hall 7, and in the OS X Business Park, Hall 2, stand E56.

The spotlight will be on the ScanSnap iX500, introduced in early 2013. The new model integrates paper documents into digital processes with an ease and at a speed unrivalled by previous ScanSnap models. Users can scan paper documents to their Android or iOS-based tablets and smartphones at the touch of a button – either directly via the built-in WiFi interface, or via a PC or Mac.

Document capture specialist PFU will also be focussing on service, both for channel partners and end users. The "Imaging Channel Programme" partner portal provides extensive support for both resellers and distributors, while PFU's Assurance Programme offers customers a graduated service scheme tailored to different businesses and budgets.
