The new LK-P31 compact portable printer from Maxatec is destined to be the first choice for receipting applications requiring a cost-effective, low-profile mobile 3-inch (80-mm) device. The class-leading, lightweight and slim direct-thermal portable receipt printer provides speedy, reliable printing on the move and can be carried in a pocket or belt-mounted for easy use and without interfering with the user's mobility.
Ideally suited to demanding, time sensitive tasks the LK-P31 uses direct thermal printing technology to produce perfect receipts every time at speeds up to 60 mm a second, with a print head life of at least 50 km. The unit weighs in at a mere 615g, including the battery and measures only 110 x 105 x 30 mm (width x depth x height). Its -10 to 50 °C operating range makes it suitable for use in most operating environments, making it very flexible and maximising return on investment.
Perfect for any receipting application, the LK-P31 stands apart from many other products on the market today being very reliable, rugged and easy to use.
The unit is equipped with a 7.4V 1130mAh Li-ion battery that will fully charge within two to three hours enabling a lengthy shift life without stopping. The LK-P31 also has an option for a portable external 8.4 V DC battery charger, cradle and a cigar jack connector for in-vehicle charging.
With mobile connectivity in mind the unit has a standard USB port and there is an option for a Bluetooth Class 2 interface for wireless applications. The printer also provides drivers for all popular operating systems, including Windows XP, Vista, Win7, Symbian, Windows CE mobile, Android and Blackberry.
