Eaton reveals the latest In Power Management for the Virtualised World at DCW 2013

At Data Centre World (DCW) 2013, Eaton will be presenting a new paper entitled 'Real Power Management for the Virtualised World'. The paper will be delivered by Tatu Valjakka, Software & Connectivity Product Manager for Eaton in EMEA. Eaton will also be exhibiting at DCW and visitors to the company's stand (J20) will be able to find out more about its efficient, cost-effective and versatile power solutions for data centres.

Tatu Valjakka's presentation will take place at 11:30am on the second day of the event, Thursday 28th February, in the 'IT, cloud and outsourcing theatre'. Tatu will reveal how numerous virtualised data centres and SMB's are missing out on substantial business continuity benefits, cost savings and energy efficiency improvements by not updating their power protection approach post-virtualisation.and will explain how data centre managers and IT professionals can quickly remedy this.

Visitors to Eaton's stand (J20) at DCW, will be able to explore the energy efficiency benefits of Eaton's newest three-phase UPS, the 93PM which is specifically designed to meet the reliability needs of IT managers in the most demanding environments including virtualised and cloud data centres, co-location facilities and mission-critical applications.

Information will also be available about the company's latest ePDU power distribution products, which offer flexible options for bringing power to the server outlets. Eaton ePDUs feature support for Cisco EnergyWise power management, the ability for users to define customised outlet groups, a power scheduling function for planned shutdowns, and mass configuration and upgrade of ePDU's.
