HellermannTyton, the identification and cable management solutions provider, has announced the arrival of its new entry level TT430 thermal transfer printer. Offering cutting edge technology, but with an easy to use interface and ability to produce up to 2,000 labels a day, the TT430 provides a cost effective solution for the small to medium volume user.

John McGee, product manager for ID solutions at HellermannTyton, said:  "The TT430's print engine has been specifically optimised so it will ensure consistent high quality printing on all of our consumable products. It is quiet and fast and the 300 dpi print head is ideal for the printing of high definition graphics, including 2D barcodes, logos, numerals and text.

"The inclusion of barcode data on labelling is becoming increasingly important for our customers, and the excellent quality of print possible with the TT430 makes it the perfect choice for those looking to produce high resolution barcodes and graphics on their ID labelling."

TT430 offers print speeds of between 30mm/s and 125mm/s and enables the user to adjust the printing to suit a wide range of consumables, including standard adhesive labels as well as HellermanTyton's heatshrink core idents and the original TipTag cable markers if required. A new range of Panel Labels, for engraved plate replacement, means that both data and power installations can benefit from the new printer and the time savings it provides.

The package comprises the TT430 printer itself, along with a range of optional accessories which include an external reel holder or caddy, which can be fixed at the rear and has the capacity to increase the available maximum consumable diameter to 300mm. Replacement print rollers and 300 dpi print heads are also available along with the simple to fit S430 cutter.

McGee added:  "Our existing range of ID marking products and printers have proved to be highly successful with our customers and we're confident this new small, modern and cost effective desktop model will prove to be a great addition to our product portfolio."

Compact in design, the TT430 weighs in at just 4kg and its dimensions are length 322mm, height 189mm and width 253mm, small enough to fit onto that last bit of desk space.
