Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) has appointed Tom Abbott to the position of Director of Mobile Enterprise. Tom has been employed by Maxatec for over 3 years holding the position of Business Development Manager before progressing to the position of Head of Sales for Mobile Enterprise within the company. The rapid growth of the Maxatec mobile enterprise business is largely apportioned to Tom who has achieved targets and growth year on year.
Prior to joining Maxatec, Tom held the position of Oracle Channel Partnership Manager with Version One Limited and successfully closed several major projects within the Public Sector, Healthcare and Education areas. Tom also spent eight years with the NCC Group as Sales Manager for Escrow and then Business Development Manager for PEN Testing. He was instrumental in both divisions exceeding business growth and profitability targets.

The new position of Director of Mobile Enterprise reflects the importance of this business area to Maxatec, and also acknowledges the tremendous commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by Tom over the past 3 years as the business has grown. Key responsibilities include strategic development and aggressive growth of the Mobile Enterprise business, as well as leading the sales and marketing activities in this area.
Already successful in various sectors, including Emergency Services, Plant Hire, and Transport and Logistics, the company expects to announce a number of significant 'wins' before the end of 2012 which will further position the company as a leading Mobile Enterprise provider.
