Brother helps resellers capitalise on revenue opportunities from rise in remote working

Brother is helping resellers capitalise on strong revenue growth in the wireless market as the demand grows for technology that enables efficient mobile working.
 
Recent research from Brother UK has revealed that a third of SMEs expect the number of mobile/ remote workers within their organisation to increase significantly over the next 5-10 years*. According to the iPass Mobile Workforce Report published in November 2011, 91% of mobile workers use a smartphone for work with 44% of mobile employees owning a tablet device.

 
The printer manufacturer has launched a new low-cost 3-in-1 wireless mono laser machine designed for home office users, offering resellers an opportunity to target new and existing customers. This comes as the latest CONTEXT data reveals that the 3-in-1 market is showing a growth of 37% YOY**.
 
Andy Forsyth, senior general manager at Brother UK, said: "Low-cost wireless mono laser printers present a great revenue opportunity for resellers, enabling them to exploit the growing trend of remote workers and expand their customer base.
 
"We expect demand for compact wireless printers to grow as employees look for greater flexibility when they're working from remote locations, such as a home office."
