Midwich acquires RW Salt Communications, boosting its position in the pro audio market

Midwich, the UK trade-only distributor of solutions in AV, print, and digital imaging, has acquired Manchester based pro audio specialist RW Salt. Having set up its pro audio division last year, Midwich has already made significant inroads in this competitive market and now boasts an exciting portfolio of equipment from a range of manufacturers including Signet, Bosch, Cloud, JBL, Denon, RCF, Sennheiser, Shure and TOA.

 
The acquisition of RW Salt demonstrates Midwich's commitment to the audio market.  It will substantially strengthen the company's technical proficiency in this specialist area, whilst improving its profile and broadening its product range.  Salt has been involved in supporting customers in many high profile commercial, leisure and security projects.  The RW Salt team of nine will be retained at its Trafford Park facility.
