BlueStar, the distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, held its first Paris Technology Summit on 5 April at Disney's Newport Bay Club Convention Centre in Paris. The Summit was designed to allow Value-Added Resellers and Independent Software Vendors to learn about new products and discover business development opportunities together.

Value-Added Resellers from across the country attended the all-day event, gaining inside information on upcoming products and services from an array of industry experts. "The Paris Technology Summit speakers offered insights to complete my knowledge of RFID and NFC technology solutions," said Lionel Decimo, a sales engineer at Paris CIPAM. Christophe Casellas, Director of Printeknologies, also praised the event, calling it "a great event that allowed attendees to attend privileged meetings with manufacturers."

The Paris Technology Summit was the first in a series to be hosted across Europe, achieving its goal of uniting vendors and resellers with the BlueStar team. "This combined educational event and solutions discussion with vendors, software solutions developers, VARs and the BlueStar team is unique in our industry," explained BlueStar 's EMEA Marketing Manager Ricard Ferrer. "These events provide a high level of value adds for attendees, which is crucial to our collective growth in 2012 and beyond."

The Technology Summit was also a hit with technology solutions vendors who demonstrated their newest products and services to resellers. "We were able to meet new resellers and develop a number of interesting potential partnerships."

The event's one-day format, combined with BlueStar's trusted Vartech Educational series components, provided an all-new venue for attendees to connect with solutions vendors.
