Fujitsu has named Varlink, the York-based specialist distributor of mobile computing, data capture and EPOS solutions, as an additional distributor for its Stylistic Q550 business tablet PC.
Varlink has worked with Fujitsu in the past to take selected mobile and POS devices to specialist markets. This re-engagement between the two companies will once again see Fujitsu draw on Varlink's expertise in specific areas of technology to extend the reach of the Stylistic Q550 and drive further development of vertical market and specialist data capture solutions.
Running Microsoft Windows 7 Professional, the Stylistic Q550 provides systems integrators, VARs and independent software developers with a unique platform for mobile computing deployments in commercial or public sector settings.

As part of that process, Fujitsu will be supporting a three-day 'Meet the Vendor' event at Varlink's York premises, with several Fujitsu staff on-hand to talk to sales and support teams, provide initial training and develop marketing plans.
