Blackroc Distribution becomes BlueStar UK Distribution

BlueStar, the global distributor of ADC, Mobility, Point-of-Sale, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology solutions, has announced its expansion of European operations to the UK and Ireland through the acquisition of Blackroc Distribution Limited, an ADC-specialty distributor in the region. Blackroc Distribution is now part of BlueStar Europe's operations, and is adopting the corporate name of BlueStar UK Distribution Limited.


 
Despite the name change, many of the business components that made Blackroc Distribution one of the largest and most respected distributors of ADC technology in the UK will remain the same for their clients. The current service and sales support professionals will become part of the growing international BlueStar team. "We will work to nuture and maintain current partner relationships in the region," said Sally Holdcroft, BlueStar UK's General Manager, "as well as develop and grow new partnerships. We are so excited about all the new benefits BlueStar will bring to the region."
 
BlueStar will bring a wealth of new value-added services to support the customer base across the UK and Ireland. BlueStar's Fusion programme will now be available, providing business development and lead generation for Value Added Resellers through an array of strategic integrated marketing services, like integrated mail campaigns, web development and optimisation, and telemarketing. "Fusion has seen incredible growth since its inception," said Jack Feitchner, BlueStar's Fusion Programme Director, "because it helps the reseller market their company; a task often neglected due to limited resources. We look forward to working with resellers throughout UK to execute programmes with proven success in business development."
 
BlueStar's extensive training and learning programmes will provide new benefits to resellers in the region. Free product training, webinars, Lunch & Learn programmes, and even an early spring Technology Summit as a part of the VarTech Educational series will further enhance the partner experience with BlueStar's solutions and services.
 
Blackroc's sales team, with more than 50 years of combined total customer support experience, will join BlueStar's locations across Europe in providing additional services and extensive technical capability to their partners for smooth integration and true value-added distribution.
