BlueStar adds marketing managers to increase global development

BlueStar, the global distributor of solutions-based ADC, Mobility, RFID, Digital Signage, and Security technology, has announced two new additions to its marketing management team.

Ricard Ferrer has joined BlueStar as the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) Marketing Manager, overseeing marketing and business development efforts across the entire region. Mr. Ferrer has a background in technology product management and more than a decade of experience in marketing and design management. He also has extensive channel expertise for ID card printers as well as ADC, RFID and security technology solutions.

"Ricard's knowledge of the channel and his business development skill set will enable our partners to develop incremental new business in EMEA," said BlueStar's Vice President of Marketing, Mark Fraker. "He will be based out of our Sabadell, Spain office and work directly with all of our Marketing Managers in the EMEA region."

BlueStar has also hired Michele Olivera as Marketing Manager for BlueStar's Latin American (LATAM) operations, based in Miramar, Florida. Originally from Peru, Ms. Olivera has a diverse background in both marketing and business development. She brings more than ten years of experience in marketing and developing new business across the LATAM region.

"Michele is a key player in the development of BlueStar's continued growth across Latin America," said BlueStar's VP of Global Distribution across Latin America, Albert Baranera. "BlueStar's vendor and VAR partners will benefit from her effective and cutting-edge communications skills geared towards driving new business."
