Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) has announced the launch of two new A4 mono multifunctional devices (MFDs) offering all the feature rich functionality of the company's award winning bizhub A3 range, including print, colour scanning, copy and optional fax capability. Based on Konica Minolta proven technology, the new A4 MFDs provide customers with the best from Konica Minolta's existing A3 products and engineering in an A4 device. For organisations requiring occasional A3 output the new multifunctional devices provide A3 output via the bypass tray, giving customers the best of both worlds an A4 device with a compact footprint capable of occasional A3 printing.

"The all new bizhub 36 and 42 are capable of serving organisations as a central communication hub", states Jonathan Wilson, Market Development Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK). "These innovative devices are Konica Minolta's first monochrome A4 MFDs that also offer A3 capability via a bypass tray, enhancing the flexibility for offices that rarely need A3 prints", Wilson adds.

Konica Minolta's bizhub 36 and 42 have a robust yet compact design ensuring they can fit comfortably into the heart of any office environment and feature a variety of versatile finishing options. Low total energy consumption (TEC) values mean that both the bizhub 36 and 42 offer reduced energy consumption, with the benefits of economy coupled with environmental conservation. Konica Minolta systems meet the highest eco standards and are certified with the Blue Angel and the Energy Star eco labels.

Flexible network options ensure seamless integration into the Konica Minolta existing bizhub A3 line-up. With PageScope Mobile, Konica Minolta's free app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, users can print documents on the bizhub 36 and bizhub 42 from anywhere using their mobile device or send scans from the A4 MFDs to their mobile device.
