Adobe Systems Incorporated has launched the Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme in the UK and Ireland. The new channel programme will offer a compelling set of incentives and rewards to the most active resellers. The programme will become effective from 3rd October 2011, with resellers able to sign up as of today.

It is free and simple to join as a Registered Reseller. The next level up is Certified Reseller and this is achieved by demonstrating knowledge and competency across Adobe's portfolio, and is aided by a wealth of free, self-paced online training and exams. The programme also includes two further levels, Gold and Platinum, for those resellers who wish to work more closely with Adobe in planning and developing their business.

Another key element to the programme is the introduction of Deal Registration. This is where Adobe will compensate partners that demonstrate value-added selling activities that contribute to the customers' adoption of Adobe technologies. Deal registration is designed to ensure the resellers pre-sales efforts are rewarded appropriately and is open to Certified and above level of reseller.

"The Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme will give resellers the chance to participate in a more integrated and comprehensive programme that rewards them proportionally for their level of commitment in selling Adobe products," said Mat Shillum, head of channel for Adobe Systems, UK and Ireland. "Tools such as Deal Registration make actively selling Adobe products more attractive and allow resellers to increase their sales and profitability with dedicated support from Adobe."

In addition to the product training, Certified and above resellers will have access to Specialisations. These are additional accreditations that are certified by Adobe, focused on Education sales, Software Asset Management and ProVideo.

Adobe's portfolio of industry leading products cover multiple industries and sectors and help customers create highly compelling content.  Publishers, broadcasters, creative professionals, knowledge workers and agencies all use Adobe products ranging from Creative Suite - which includes tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and After Effects and Adobe Acrobat. All of which provide great opportunities for Resellers.

All Adobe authorised distributors will be eligible to offer the Adobe Cumulative Licensing Programme (CLP) to resellers at the Certified, Gold and Platinum levels, giving them the opportunity to strengthen their relationships with specialised partners. Distributors will be actively involved in Adobe's activities to create, enable and expand the reseller ecosystem, and carry out new marketing and market development activities that will benefit resellers at all levels.
