Document management and imaging software author, Version One, is a finalist in seven separate categories of the DM (Document Manager) Awards 2011. This year's winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held at the Hotel Russell in London on 29 September 2011. Version One was a DM Awards winner in 2007 and 2008 and was shortlisted in four categories in 2010.

Now in its fifth year, the DM Awards acknowledge and reward the outstanding products, suppliers and projects in the document management industry.

Version One has made the final in seven separate categories including Document Manager Company of the Year, Document Manager Product of the Year (DbCapture), Storage Product of the Year (DbArchive) and Environmental Product of the Year (Version One's document management suite).

Sharing the shortlist spotlight is Version One's DbMail (Email Product of the Year category) and pioneering DbCapture PDF module (Desktop/Portable/Other Imaging Product of the Year category). DbCapture PDF is a new intuitive solution, which closes the 'paperless loop' by eliminating the need for finance departments to print out and scan invoices received in PDF format in order to automatically capture the invoice data.

Version One's marketing and PR team, headed up by Catherine Murphy, complete the shortlist, reaching the final in the PR/Marketing Campaign of the Year category for Version One's document management seminar campaign.

Julian Buck, Version One's Managing Director comments, "The DM Awards are the UK's leading document management industry awards and so we are delighted to have been shortlisted in seven separate categories."

Buck adds, "Version One has enjoyed yet another successful year which has included new product releases and an expansion of our global footprint thanks to our new partnership agreement with Infor. We're grateful that this success has been recognised by the DM Awards judges."
