Holland 1916, a manufacturer of highly durable RFID tagging solutions, provides custom RFID solutions to global safety equipment manufacturer MSA to aid MSA's customers in inventory tracking and safety-compliance.

Holland 1916 and MSA designed an RFID retrofit kit that is comprised of durable RFID tags and easy to use attachment mechanisms that are ideal for MSA's fall protection products including the EvoTech Harness. The RFID tag allows the customer to automatically identify an asset using an RFID handheld reader, and proceed to perform an inspection on the asset or assign the item to a specific employee using a software solution provided by MSA. By automatically identifying the asset using an RFID tag, the inspectors are able to quickly and more accurately process inspections.

"The RFID tagging solutions provided by Holland 1916 allow our customers to quickly and accurately identify and manage their assets through our FieldID safety compliance software system," said Robert Apel, Fall Protection Business Manager for MSA.

"We were able to work closely with MSA to understand their business requirements and to design an RFID retrofit kit that met all of their criteria," commented Zack Barron of Holland 1916. "MSA was looking for a solution that was quick and simple to apply and would survive the day to day punishment that their products see in the field."
