Zycko launches LifeSize offering in France and BeNeLux

Zycko, the value added distributor of leading edge IT solutions, will be introducing its LifeSize catalogue to France and the BeNeLux region. The expansion follows year-on-year growth and demand for LifeSize's best-in-breed HD videoconferencing solutions in the European market. Zycko was recently awarded LifeSize Best Project of the Year EMEA 2010 and LifeSize Distributor of the Year EMEA 2010.  

LifeSize, a division of Logitech, pioneered high definition video communications, and delivers top of the range telepresence solutions suitable for any environment, using 'Full HD' (1080p) video where appropriate. With the ability to provide HD video communications using less than 768 kbps, as well as the highest resolution available at any bandwidth, LifeSize systems enable customers to cost-effectively deploy HD video communications.

Zycko already distributes LifeSize solutions in the UK, Russia, Italy and the Nordics. The distributor's Italian office was awarded LifeSize Project of the Year EMEA 2010 for work with local reseller Engineering Ingegneria Informatica on a public administration, justice project that involved 300 sites throughout Italy.

Zycko's Group Sales and Marketing Director, David Galton-Fenzi, comments: "We've enjoyed a close relationship with LifeSize ever since our partnership began in 2008. The HD VC vendor is the sector leader and has been extremely popular with VARs throughout every market we operate in."

Galton-Fenzi concluded: "We've seen LifeSize business quadruple over the last year and we expect that to continue throughout 2011, as more businesses look at the financial and sustainability benefits of substituting travel with affordable HD offerings. We'll also be looking to take the product to Germany over the next 12 months."
