Kodak and AnyDoc Software have announced a new integration between Kodak Capture Pro Software and OCR for AnyDoc with a full-featured System Output Destination (SOD) bridging the two products. The complete integration provides users with a single output stream for combining indexing, batch scanning and metadata capabilities of Capture Pro Software with advanced automated data capture and classification features of OCR for AnyDoc and Infiniworx Software.
The new SOD uses Capture Pro Software to extract specific index values and system metadata, such as job names, dates, scan operator IDs, etc. The connector also provides users the additional benefit of remote connectivity. Images and data are sent remotely from offsite locations using Capture Pro Software directly into a centralized AnyDoc environment through an AnyDoc CAPTUREit Server, which substantially reduces processing times and saves on postage costs. These capabilities help businesses improve accuracy, minimize manual processing, reduce labor costs and increase productivity.
