BlueStar Europe appoints new Managing Director

BlueStar has appointed Stefan Gerats to the Managing Director post of BlueStar Europe's Central region. "Our DACH regional partners are important to BlueStar," said Bill Nix, Vice President of Global Distribution for BlueStar. "Stefan's channel and regional experience will complement our strategy to offer more solutions along with ease of business so our reseller partners can grow their respective businesses in this market."

In his new role, Mr. Gerats will be responsible for the acceleration of BlueStar's reseller partner value-add programmes in Europe's central region. This includes the management of all BlueStar partner relationships and execution of all go-to-market strategies for BlueStar German Operations. BlueStar is positioned for growth in its European region, with fulfilment centres in Sweden, France, Spain, and Germany.

"I am eager to join the BlueStar team," says Mr. Gerats. "The company's positive growth in EMEA is principally due to their dedication to the channel, local markets, and value add distribution model."

Mr. Gerats brings over two decades of experience in the channel with a specific focus on barcode and labeling products. Formerly, Stefan held executive positions at CipherLab GmbH in their sales division, as well as six years with Zebra Technologies Europe where he led their sales division. Prior to these roles Mr. Gerats was responsible for the sales organisation at TALIS Haftetiketten GmbH & Co.KG.
