Bocada Inc., provider of data protection management software and the creator of the Data Protection Service Management (DPSM) model, has launched the Bocada Partner Programme designed to empower resellers and MSPs with a comprehensive set of sales, marketing and technical tools that will help them reach new customers, enter new markets and increase customer satisfaction by delivering the best products, service and support in the evolving DPSM market.

VARs and MSPs looking to transform the way they deliver data protection services to their customers can now partner with Bocada to fully leverage the DPSM model - a blueprint outlining the steps and best practices for getting control of customers' data protection environment - and the purpose built Bocada Prism DPSM solution in order to ensure recoverability, more effectively deliver against SLAs, reduce risk, better communicate with customers and lower overall CAPEX/OPEX costs.

The Bocada Partner Programme provides marketing programs to help generate demand, sales presentations for customers, product demonstration programs, product reference materials with quick guides for easy review, excellent margins, and opportunity registration and lead tracking programs. The program is an extension of the company's channel-centric sales model that has been spearheaded by the Channel Chargers, a technology channel sales and marketing Services Company.

"We have seen tremendous excitement and interest from the reseller community about the Bocada Prism solution," said John Boyken, President of the Channel Chargers. "They view it as a unique, timely and much needed offering in a market flooded with basic reporting products. At Channel Chargers, we are delighted to be the hands-on partner that together with Bocada, developed the tools that enable channel partners to quickly and efficiently sell data protection services to their customers.  We look forward to continuing our sales outreach to the channel on behalf of Bocada."

Since the Prism product release in January of this year, the Channel Chargers and Bocada have added multiple Value Added Resellers and Managed Service Providers in the US and EMEA and expect to sign additional strategic channel partners in the coming quarter.

"Bocada has been phenomenal in getting behind our sales efforts by providing the tools and materials required to help our customers improve their data protection operational goals, "said Greg Knieriemen, Vice President of Chi Corporation. "Their lead generation programs and comprehensive product and training materials have allowed us to hit the ground running and book incremental sales.  We are very excited by the end user acceptance of this unique and needed DPSM model which is far beyond the me-too solutions out there."

Together, the DPSM model and Bocada Prism arm channel partners with not only a clear step-by-step process improvement guide and a superior technical solution, but a business case that makes sense for the bottom line as well. Among some of the benefits of the Bocada Prism solutions are:

Agentless architecture for rapid deployment and easy maintenance
SLA Impact analysis
Policy change impact analysis
Enables annotation and knowledge transfer
Broad heterogeneous supportSecure web-based views providing multiple permission-based viewing levels

"We truly feel that the best way to expand the reach of our data protection service management solutions and improve how customers can reach the next level of business and operational efficiency is by driving sales through the channel," said Nancy Hurley, CEO of Bocada. "Our channel partners have become an important extension of our team. By formalizing this relationship through our Bocada Partner Program we hope that we can better enable our partners to utilize our solutions to drive new business opportunities, increase professional services revenue and further strengthen customer relationships."
