Unitech launches new Channel Partner Programme

Unitech has introduced a brand new Channel Partner Programme called United. The programme has been designed with all players of the supply chain in mind, working together and being united in one programme. United is designed to provide better profitability and growth for partners. Members can benefit from business development programs, excellent sales support, tailor-made marketing support and additional programme features based on various partner status levels.

The newly developed United Channel Partner Programme reinforces Unitechs commitment to its channel partners across EMEA, aiming on growth and improving their bottom line. In addition, the programme underlines Unitechs channel-centric market strategy by recognising those partners that generate demand in their market space.

Sharing of resources
As indicated by its name, the programme unites Unitech and the channel partner for mutual benefit and will facilitate greater sharing of resources. Unitech understands channel partners are key to the successful implementation of its products at end-users. The company comments that not only do its partners continue to provide customer services once the solution implementation is completed, they also guide end-users through their manufacturer selection process. United contributes to all of these stages of engagement.

United is tailored to channel partners specific needs and comprises four categories. The programme distinguishes Value-Adding Distributors, Value-Added Solutions Partners, Business Partners and Independent Software Vendors. Each category will be offered a suite of tools such as project protection, marketing funding support or even CRM options.

Working together
Value-added distributors are working closely together with VARs and resellers, and besides marketing and financial services they are offering value add on top of pick, pack and ship services. In addition, the value-adding distributor is supporting Unitech resellers on complex hardware offerings. The United Partner Programme is geared to support the value-added distributor by means of stock rotation plans, coop-funding and assigned Unitech sales professionals to work on business development programmes through their reseller community jointly united.

Unitech states that its value-added solution partners have an in-depth understanding of their market and offer customised and finely tuned complete solutions. The company adds that these partners have deep know-how on implementing and maintaining Unitech equipment at end-user locations and also support customers on their software integration. The United Partner Programme is geared to support value-added solution partners by means of demo equipment programmes, price support and marketing support. Unitech comments that the value-adding solution partner will feel being part of Unitech family united.

Business partners will promote Unitech equipment when possible. Unlike a value-added solution partner, a business partner will mainly recommend only predefined solutions and packages, then configure and implement them for the end-user. Another benefit of United is that by being part of the United Partner Programme the business partner will receive direct manufacturer updates on products and services.

Within the context of the programme, independent software vendors will recommend Unitech. The core focus for the vendors is their software solution. With regard to ISVs, the United Partner Programme is geared to supporting them in developing and delivering fully tested and qualified hardware solutions to Unitech end-users. ISVs can now benefit from demo equipment programmes and manufactures direct technical support on hardware and software. In addition, they will receive direct product information and updates, and can join pre-launch programmes.
