BlueStar, the solutions-based distributor for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, RFID and Security products has signed a definitive purchase agreement with Impuls ID Distribution, a Sabadell, Spain, global distributor of Automatic Identification, Security and Identification Card and specialty application products.

Impuls currently operates distribution facilities in Spain, France, Latin America and North America. Impuls provides engineering, technical service, and marketing support for its resellers. "BlueStar's approach to the market fits perfectly with our business philosophy," says Albert Baranera, Impuls CEO. "The way we all see how to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers starting from in country marketing, sales and technical commitment will lead us to expand business under a global leadership and local focus". Under the BlueStar acquisition, Impuls will continue to distribute products for Identification and Tracking; ID Security/Badging solutions and CD-DVD Systems.
