Lexmark has launched a new team of territory managers who will focus on supporting the channel to help drive their businesses forward. This move follows last years launch of the Channel Value Programme (CVP).
The new team of territory sales managers will work with our channel partners to increase sales and improve efficiency. Each member of the team will focus on designated postcode areas to help retailers and resellers maximise their sales opportunities.
To have our team working so closely with retailers means we can offer a highly tailored service, commented Marcus Harvey, UK channel director, Lexmark. In the current climate, its absolutely vital that a retailer makes the most of each sale increasing them without necessarily investing in a host of expensive marketing activity. Equally important is that vendors understand what resellers need. The increased focus on the channel that the new team brings will help resellers increase profit the top priority for any business.
The new team will also be working with a variety of businesses in different sectors, speaking to end users with the aim of improving the way smaller businesses manage their print infrastructure.
SMBs often dont realise the money they could be saving in their print systems. The new channel team will not only be product-trained, but will also know our solutions, such as CVP and Lexmark Value Print (LVP), inside out. This means that resellers will understand exactly how the technology can be used more effectively. The back-to-basics approach works across all businesses the team will be showing companies how to save money and improve green credentials without actually spending more money.
This focused approach follows successful loyalty schemes, an example being the Lexmark Rewards Visa Prepaid Card a rebate scheme which rewards reseller team members for Lexmark sales.
Lexmark will have a stand at Channel Expo 2009 which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 20-21 May. Please visit us at stand no. 671.
