Visioneer and Xerox has lauched the latest addition to the DocuMate Scanner range. The DocuMate 700 is an A3 flatbed scanner with a built-in USB hub which enables it to be connected directly to a PC and used as a stand-alone flatbed scanner or it can be connected through its USB port to an existing Xerox ADF (automatic document feeder) scanner for added functionality.

The Xerox DocuMate 700 has an A3 flatbed that enables users to scan a large variety of documents, such as books, magazines, plastic cards and fragile paper. Powered by Visioneer OneTouch technology, the scanner allows users to scan to the destination of their choice by pressing a single button, eliminating multiple steps usually required to save scanned documents in popular file formats.
The Xerox DocuMate 700 has the ability to instantly scan a document into a searchable PDF file, and send it to one of the many ECM applications that Visioneer has developed links to, such as, Xerox DocuShare, ScanFlow Store, DocuWare, Microsoft SharePoint, Kofax Ascent Collection Server, EMC Captiva, QuickScan Pro, Laserfiche and/or to devices such as printers and networked storage systems in just one touch.
