Epson adds Synaxon UK partner list

Synaxon UK has signed an official supplier agreement with Epson UK, one of the worlds largest manufacturers of printers, scanners and projectors, adding further strength to the groups growing list of UK vendor partners.

The addition of another major vendor to the list of partners now working with the group in the UK is highly significant says Managing Director of Synaxon UK, Derek Jones. Epson is one of the very biggest names in printing and imaging and in the channel as a whole and we are absolutely delighted to have added this prestigious brand to our list of UK supplier partners. We are very pleased with the progress we are making in the UK and the agreement with Epson can only add further momentum to our plans.

With immediate effect, Synaxon reseller members will have full access to the entire Epson range of inkjet, laser and multi-function printing solutions. In addition, Epson will contribute to the regular marketing and business development activities that Synaxon is running in the UK in support of its reseller, retailer and dealer members.

With Epson adding further strength and credibility to Synaxon UKs list of partners, the group has an increasingly alluring value proposition for all resellers, systems builders and retailers operating in the UK market, says Jones. We can deliver a tremendous range of benefits to our reseller partners the word is spreading and more reseller and retailers are now finding their way to us and looking to take advantage of EGIS and all the other benefits Synaxon offers.

More than 300,000 stock lines from 12 distributors are now available via EGIS and members who place orders through the system benefit from special offers and discounts that are available only through Synaxon. In addition, they receive regular information and bulletins on special offers and promotions and are provided with active marketing support in the form of bi-monthly mailers, which they can personalise with their own company details.

Synaxon offers a unique partnership proposition to systems builders, retailers and resellers. It provides pro-active marketing support as well as access to a comprehensive range of products on exclusive terms and conditions. This approach also delivers more value for supplier partners as it helps them to drive new business opportunities to reseller members, who can then locate and order products from suppliers through EGIS.

The UK operation is using the same tried and tested business model that has proved so successful in the German market, where around 15 per cent of all channel trading is conducted through EGIS. It is free for resellers to sign up as a Synaxon Technology Partner (STP). In exchange, they will receive bi-monthly mailers which they can personalise with their own company details, access to all the groups UK supplier agreements and their associated benefits, a listing on the Synaxon web site and call locator, and a trial of EGIS. 

Synaxon Technology Premier Partners (STTP) in return for monthly subscription of 99 receive additional benefits including professionally over-printed bi-monthly mailers, a detailed web site listing, access to priority leads generated via the call locator, full access to EGIS, and a discount on all additional Synaxon services.
