Full Honeywell scanning & mobility product line now available through ScanSource across Europe

Honeywell has announced that its full line of scanning and mobility products is now available through ScanSource Europe, a valued added distributor, across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The Honeywell Scanning & Mobility business is composed of the product and technology offerings from Hand Held Products and Metrologic Instruments, two companies acquired by Honeywell in late 2007 and 2008, respectively. ScanSource Europe, a long-standing distributor of Hand Held Products hardware, has been selling Metrologic products in the UK since October 2007, and will now supply the full product range to European resellers.

This is great news for our resellers, who can now order their Metrologic products at the same time they order the rest of their scanning and mobility hardware, said Vincent Decoster, Merchandising Director, ScanSource Europe. The benefits they have become used to like having a wide choice of products in stock, flexible financing, quick and accurate delivery, and all our other value-added services are now applicable to the legacy Metrologic products as well.

ScanSource Europe resellers throughout Europe now have access to the complete Honeywell Scanning & Mobility portfolio, said Philippe Buidin, Channel Marketing Director EMEA, Honeywell Scanning & Mobility. Honeywells product portfolio is now one of the broadest in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry, providing a solution for virtually any application. With ScanSource Europes logistical prowess and added values, these solutions are easily within reach of a large number of specialised resellers.

ScanSource Europes 13,700m warehouse, stocked with over 161,000 items, is centrally located at the heart of the European motorway network. If orders are processed before cut-off, they ship the same day, meaning the majority of customers receive their orders within two working days.
