Vocollect appoints Co-Founder Larry Sweeney to Board of Directors, Japan

Vocollect, Inc., provider of voice systems for improving supply chain performance, has appointed co-founder Larry Sweeney to the Board of Directors for Vocollect Japan, Inc. Sweeney will take a central role in expanding the company across Japan and throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and will be located in Tokyo, Japan.

Sweeney's chief focus will be to further develop Vocollect's market strategy for Asia, to provide ongoing sales support to the Japan sales and business development team, and to serve as the corporate liaison to Vocollect headquarters in Pittsburgh.
 
Now in its third year of operation, Vocollect Japan, Inc. works with partners KISS and Nihon Unisys to provide voice systems for leading companies, including COSMOS Pharmacy, IHI Kenki, Kanda Corporation and Lotte Mart.
