Visioneer has launched a small, yet powerful mobile scanner that handles the document scanning needs of business travellers, from expense receipts to business cards and documents, for only 149.99 (inc VAT). The Xerox Travel Scanner 100 shares many of the industry-leading software applications that are included with other Xerox DocuMate scanners so now users can work with the same tools on the road that they are familiar with in the office.
The Xerox Travel Scanner measures only 290 x 51 x 38 mm, weighs only 300 grams, has a resolution of 600 dpi with 24-bit colour and is the only travel scanner available that has Kofax VRS technology integrated into the scanner driver so that you get perfect scans from imperfect originals. The Xerox Travel Scanner is powered through the USB port on a PC so users dont have to worry about finding a wall outlet while on the road. It also includes patented Paper Driven and AutoLaunch technologies from Visioneer so users can automatically start scanning documents as soon as they are inserted into the scanner.
