September 2008 sees Konica Minolta launching its new office gadget - magicolor 4690MF, an all-in-one machine to print, copy, fax & scan.
Aimed at small-medium sized businesses and independent business people, Konica Minolta is launching a product aimed at being an essential to both your day to day business capabilities and also your image. With a slick design and functionality, the magicolor 4690MF has been designed with image in mind and is therefore your ideal office gadget.
The 4690MF combines 4-in-1 functionality - high quality laser printing and copying at up to 24 pages per minute, versatile scanning and high speed faxing. The magicolor 4690MF fulfils all your in-house printing needs with thick paper handling allowing you to print up to 210gsm, an Automatic Document Feeder, double sided printing and a 100 sheet multipurpose tray. The new model allows you to print a full range of media, including stationary, labels and forms. In terms of durability, the magicolor 4690MF can print up to 120,000 pages per month with an optional lower paper feeder providing an extra 500 sheet capacity for long print runs.
Konica Minolta's Simitri HD (high definition polymerised toner) ensures that colours are true, brilliant and long-lasting whilst texts are crisp, clear and highly defined. Users get an enhanced resolution of up to 2400 x 600 dpi with an attractive matt finish. The magicolor 4690mf uses auto colour recognition, where colour toner is only used when it is really required. For personal or internal documents, users can opt for toner save mode allowing them to cut down toner consumption by half.
As well as printing, the versatile magicolor 4690mf is able to scan up to 24 originals per minute in different file formats - PDF, TIFF and JPEG. Featuring all enhanced network scan functions, users may integrate or attach their scans directly to eMail, FTP or SMB. Scan-to-USB memory stick, simplifies document sharing and archiving. The scanner supports both the WIA as well as the TWAIN-protocol. Furthermore, the magicolor 4690MF enables high-speed faxing with ECM/Super G3 capability, which sends and receives fax documents at up to 33.6 Kbps.
