Wavelink software to be pre-licensed on Datalogic mobile devices

Wavelink Corporation and Datalogic Mobile have announced that Datalogic will pre-license Wavelink emulation and management software on its mobile devices. This marks the first time a major mobile device manufacturer is shipping devices with a pre-licensed management solution.

With pre-licensed software from Wavelink, Datalogic Mobile customers receive, at no additional cost, leading software for managing the devices and connecting them to host systems. Wavelink Avalanche will come pre-licensed on all Datalogic Windows CE devices while Wavelink Emulators will be pre-licensed on select models and pre-loaded on all other devices. Datalogic Mobile customers will receive technical support for Wavelink applications as part of their standard support agreements.

Starting September 1, 2008, Datalogic Mobile CE devices are shipping with Wavelink Terminal Emulators and Avalanche pre-loaded and/or pre-licensed.
