IVT announces 'extended-range' Bluetooth products

IVT, a leading Bluetooth technology specialist, has launched its new 'extended-range' Bluetooth portfolio of products for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC).

"The general user perception is that Bluetooth is a 10 meter Radio. 'Extended Range' added on Bluetooth Branding clarifies that Bluetooth is more than a 10 meter technology. IVT's O200 GSM phone, a feature rich, quad-band GSM phone for the world wide market, using Bluetooth Cordless Telephony Profile, can make and receive PSTN calls or IP calls in excess of 500 meters in open air through IVT's PSTN or SIP access points respectively," stated Fei Xu, IVT's director of embedded application.

IVT is currently looking to expand its network of distributors, Worldwide.
