Business communications company, Genesis, is launching a new suite of hosted services to the channel, including a Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Microsoft SharePoint 2007 platform.
The company, which broadened its hosted offering when it acquired SaaS provider Servelogic last year, is also launching Microsoft CRM 4 and Microsoft Hosted Desktop.
Genesis new products will be available to the channel as white label offerings, which can be badged by distributors and resellers before being sold onto their customers.
In addition to the strong margins on offer, Genesis will be offering training and marketing support to encourage sign up.
Mark Seeman, product & marketing director at Genesis, commented: This is a year of firsts for Genesis. Not only are we the first provider to market with Exchange 2007, but were also the first UK hosting company to open a wholly owned data centre and the first to work with distributors as well as resellers and dealers, something were hoping will help us reach as many people as possible.
With this new offering, were hoping to appeal to both data and comms dealers. For data specialists, were offering advanced control panel capability and for the comms channel, were offering an entirely new revenue stream and a completely converged service.
Rather than just offering a mobile device with talk time and texts, theyll be able to offer hosted mobile email, managed hosted server space, along with more traditional services like broadband and fixed line, all from one provider and on one bill. Its a complete business solution that will appeal to customers of all sizes, offering big opportunities to increase margins.
Genesis new hosted products will be available from May. For more information or to find out how to become a Genesis partner, visit www.genesis.co.uk.
