ProCurve Networking by HP has announced a series of enhancements to its successful Select Channel Partner Programme and signalled its plans to expand the programme and put more emphasis on the small and medium business (SMB) market.
ProCurve has a long history of working with channel partners to provide customers with secure, mobile, multi-service network solutions. Currently, channel partners join, upon agreement and satisfaction of certain criteria, one of four partner tracks: Elite, Specialist, Professional or Select.
ProCurve has recently been making improvements to the Select Partner Programme, which are aimed at helping those partners grow their businesses and service end-user needs better. In addition, the changes are aimed at attracting new partners to the Select Partner Programme, which currently comprises approximately 1700 partners across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
Select Partners currently enjoy benefits of ProCurve support, including access to a sales support team and an account manager to help them find the best ProCurve solution for their customers needs. In addition, Select Partners can take advantage of training, marketing and sales tools offered under the program. Furthermore, Select Partners have the opportunity to participate in promotions and to request specific project pricing.
Among the improvements to ProCurves Select Partner Programme is a sales toolkit for partners, which incorporates greater technical, marketing and business support to further enable partners to sell network solutions. Select Partners can now also receive preferred access to expertise from ProCurves European Network Design Centre (ENDC). The ProCurve ENDC helps companies design or redesign their networks and better align IT operations to business objectives. ProCurve is the only company to offer this service for free and provides Select Partners with technical presales consulting, including network design proposals and a detailed list of materials those proposals will require.
