Unitech, the third largest worldwide manufacturer of rugged PDAs, and ID.SYS GmbH, one of Germanys most successful Auto ID distributors, has signed an agreement for the distribution of Unitechs products.
Founded in 1994 and with an annual turnover in excess of 6million, ID.SYS is a trade only distributor selling exclusively through resellers and systems integrators. Its range of high performance products includes data reading and collection solutions, industrial scanning systems, RFID and printing solutions. The company has built a reputation for providing high levels of service and expert product knowledge, which has led the company to achieve success across a range of sectors including warehousing and industrial, healthcare and Government.
The company is at the forefront of growing demand for rugged data capture equipment suitable for harsh working conditions and has established itself as the leading distributor of a range of sophisticated products specifically designed for these environments. The distribution agreement with Unitech for portable terminals, handheld scanners and readers will enable ID.SYS to further strengthen its position in these and other sectors throughout the European DACH (D=Germany, A=Austria, CH= Switzerland) region.
