Fujitsu launches bold new Imaging Channel Program in EMEA

Fujitsu Europe Limited, a leading provider of imaging products has announced the launch of a market leading channel program designed to focus on reseller channel expansion and strengthen its indirect sales model.

The Fujitsu EMEA-wide loyalty program has been specifically created for partners in the imaging segment, enhancing its partner network and customer interaction.

The introduction of the new Imaging Channel Program represents a core component of Fujitsus overall strategic investment in channel resources, with an increasing focus towards building a strong EMEA-wide imaging partner network. The program will consolidate all existing partner offerings into a streamlined framework, adding new generation partner offerings whilst being responsive to changing market dynamics.

The Imaging Channel Program will enable Fujitsu to additionally support resellers by providing access to key marketing and sales tools. Ann Thueland, Manager, Channel Marketing EMEA, comments, For the first time, we will enable key resellers to directly leverage the strength of the Fujitsu brand.

The Imaging Channel Program will have the following branded partner categories:

1.         FUJITSU Authorised Imaging Distributor

2.         FUJITSU Qualified Imaging Reseller

3.         FUJITSU Selected Imaging Enabler

Featuring performance-based Development, Silver, Gold and Elite achievement levels for Qualified Imaging Resellers and Selected Imaging Enablers, the new Imaging Channel Program will provide many new benefits to partners. These include assigned resources, leads management, tailored incentives, product demonstrations, event and product support, as well as powerful marketing tools which will enable partners to create co-branded collateral and have access to Market Development Funds for targeted promotions.

As of today 120 partners are already nominated for official certification within the Fujitsu Imaging Channel Program, which starts effective May 2007.   This number is set to grow dramatically throughout 2007.  Financial stability and product expertise are the basic entry requirements for imaging partners, whilst Silver, Gold and Elite achievement levels are based on revenue commitments and geographic scopes, as well as partner experience in key market areas.

To strengthen the communication between Fujitsu and the Imaging Channel Partners an online Partner Portal has been developed. This will provide partners with access to the most essential program tools and templates, based on their status level.

Rolled out initially in English, the Partner Portal will be shortly available in other main languages within the EMEA region including German, Italian, French and Russian.

Mike Nelson, General Manager Sales Operations, comments, "The new Imaging Channel Program EMEA is targeted towards long-term customer and partner retention. Through qualified business partner relationships, Fujitsu customers can be confident and assured that their real needs are addressed today and tomorrow. Our partners are key to Fujitsus imaging business strategy and we look forward to maintaining a regular dialog with them, ensuring mutual success.
