MYOB bolsters channel offering with launch of new version of award-winning software

MYOB Ltd, the accounting software and services provider, has announced that it will offer free Google AdWords Advertising vouchers alongside the launch of its newly upgraded flagship products, adding value for resellers and strengthening its channel and partner strategy.

This launch is an integral part of MYOBs channel strategy appealing to resellers looking to offer small business customers an easy-to-use accounting and payroll solution signifying a strong foothold in the small business market for the company.

MYOBs latest key features added to MYOB Accounting and MYOB Accounting Plus ensure that the products, which require no prior accounting knowledge, enable the faster processing of administration tasks, avoid duplication of records and synchronise MYOB Contacts with Outlook(Windows) and AddressBook(Mac). The software is quick to set-up and easy to learn, which makes accounting simple for everyone.

This new version will also include a 50 Google AdWords Advertising voucher with every product sold.  The voucher will outline exactly how the user can claim their Google credit for advertising their business online.

The improved solution not only reflects our commitment to small business end-users who have no or little previous accountancy knowledge, but also the needs of our reseller partners in the channel.

As part of its channel programme, MYOB resellers are entitled to a range of support services to help with technical questions, as well as benefiting from the companys ongoing sales and marketing efforts. MYOBs "Sell and forget" strategy means that all new customers receive 30 days' free technical support, limiting resellers support worries. In addition, copies of MYOB software products can be bought at a discounted price for resale to clients.

The company also today announces the launch of RetailReady which contains all the hardware and software a retailer will need to get started.

New key features include: 

  • Function to turn a sales order directly into a purchase order without the user having to re-key the sale 
  • Undo bank reconciliations 
  • New payroll verification report 
  • Pre-dated recurring transactions 
  • Search recurring transactions by name, amount or next due date  
  • Print or email remittance advices to suppliers  
  • Synchronise MYOB Contacts with Outlook(Windows) and AddressBook(Mac)  
  • Improved employee payroll details import features  
  • Import and export stock adjustments  
  • Import transactions by company name, card ID or record ID
