BWE BELL + HOWELL SCANNERS BOOSTS SALES AND ENGINEERING INITIATIVES WITH FOUR NEW HIRES

BWE BELL + HOWELL Scanners added four skilled professionals to the company's sales and engineering departments.

Available through a worldwide channel of distributors and value-added resellers, BWE BELL + HOWELL's high-end, midrange and entry-level scanners help organizations convert documents into flawless digital images quickly and cost-effectively.

Dale Wittlock, 51, joins BWE BELL + HOWELL as an advisory electrical engineer. He will oversee design and development initiatives for both new and existing scanners at the company. Prior to this, Wittlock spent more than 25 years working in the robotics and telecommunications industries with clients such as Verizon, British Telecom, Ford Motor Co., Boeing and NASA.

He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Tim Demel, 41, a senior advisory mechanical engineer brings more than 20 years of experience in electromechanical design and testing to the company. After developing his engineering expertise in the automotive and telecommunications industries, Demel will now help develop and maintain key initiatives within BWE BELL + HOWELL's engineering group.

Demel holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill.


Julie Tomasiewicz, 35, comes aboard as a distribution sales representative. Before joining BWE BELL + HOWELL, Tomasiewicz honed her project management skills for more than eight years at companies like Hewitt Associates, Hyatt Hotels and Marriott International.

Tomasiewicz holds a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis.

Christopher Murray, 27, joins the company as a development mechanical engineer. In his new role, Murray will help sustain and develop BWE BELL + HOWELL's complete line of production scanners. Most recently, he worked for Belden Incorporated where he designed power transmission components for the aerospace industry.

Murray holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in Indianapolis, Ind. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the British Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
