BROTHER EXPANDS INTO MONO INKJET FAX

Fax market leader* Brother has further widened its range of products and introduced a range of mono sheet-fed inkjet fax machines for the small business and home office.

There are three machines in the range, all with a large memory capacity and a fast copy speed of 18 copies per minute.

Paul Callow, Brothers General Manager Trade Channels, says: Contrary to popular opinion, the UK fax market remains a significant one and there remains a steady demand for single-function fax machines.

This new range offers resellers a new opportunity to capitalise on the strength of the Brother brand in this market.

The Fax-1360 is the base model and has a large 14.4K modem, handset with cord, copy resolution of 600 x 600 and TX Transit memory allowing up to 250 pages to be stored if paper runs out. The Fax-1360 has a suggested street price of just 79.99 inc VAT and has a capability of being able to broadcast from 160 locations.

The Fax-1460 is the next model in the range; it has the features of the Fax-1360 with the addition of memory security and speakerphone. It also has a message manager allowing voice messages to be left on an answer phone. The Fax-1460 has a suggested street price 99.99 inc VAT.

At the top of the line up is the Fax-1560, which has all of the features and benefits of the fax-1460 with the addition of a DECT handset. The Fax-1560 can be used as a base station with a further three DECT handsets which must be GAP compatible. The Fax-1560 has a suggested street price 119.99 inc VAT.

This latest range of machines are designed to run alongside the new colour inkjet all-in-ones launched in October and are an ideal solution to make home office or small business tasks easier, quicker and more convenient.

All of the faxes in the range use the LC1000BK single blank pigment ink cartridge producing a yield of up to 500 pages with five percent coverage. The cartridge is priced at 14.99.
