Extech Data Systems, a leading developer of portable printers for enterprise-wide applications has signed a new master distributor agreement with ADTECH, based in Wroclaw, Poland. This expands their existing relationship to include new territories including Slovakia, Ukraine and Belarus and marks Extechs continued commitment to the Eastern European Market.
Tony Revis, worldwide general manager at Extech said: From people transportation to field service Eastern Europe is a market where there is a growing need for mobile applications. We see this new agreement as an opportunity to capitalise on our two year association with ADTECH and a leap forward to establishing Extech as the number one brand in portable printing in the region.
Zbigniew (Zbyszek) Wolak, managing director of ADTECH, added: Extech products provides us with robust and innovative mobile printing solutions, enabling us to develop new exciting market sectors such as the Polish Forestry Commission. We are also embarking on an aggressive expansion of our network of Value Added Distributors (VAD) and Value Added Resellers (VAR) to support the new territories.
ADTECH are focusing on a number of markets looking for productivity tools in mobile computing to help users provide a competitive edge. Initial activities are on the gas distribution services sector, forestry and transportation.
ADTECH currently work with SKK, the Intermec Distributor for Poland, PASSUS, the Unitech distributor for Poland and VARs Voigt and Takma as well as Wincor Nixdorf. They are looking to expand the distributor and VAR base in 2007.
