BREECE HILL SIGNS EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH HEADWAY TECHNOLOGY

Companys data protection solutions now available to departmental workgroups/midrange market throughout the continent

Breece Hill, the premier provider of innovative data protection solutions for the small and medium-sized businesses, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Headway Technology Group Ltd. to distribute and market its line of data protection appliances throughout Europe.

Headway Technology, a business division of the ACAL IT, is a premier specialized distributor for document management and storage products, reaching marketplaces in Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. The addition of Breece Hills BizGuardian and iStoRA products marks the first fully-integrated data protection solutions to the companys product portfolio.

About the Products
BizGuardian provides robust protection without the complexity and IT intervention usually associated with traditional multi-layered data protection. It automatically scans the network to discover new desktops, notebooks or servers, and then backs them up to disk without the need for manual intervention. Backup operations are automatically adjusted to ensure all computers get protected, and AES-encrypted tapes are created for safe offsite storage. Users can perform restores of their files themselves without needing to involve IT personnel.

Breece Hill's iStoRA is a new approach to data storage. iStoRA integrates disk and tape into an easy-to-deploy, easy-to-manage, versatile and affordable package. The iStoRA provides a flexible high-performance storage repository suitable for a wide variety of data storage and server applications. iStoRA today combines 2.0 TB RAID disk, a tape autoloader and a robust Windows or Linux server in one optimized package.
