Unitech Appoints Nedcoding bv as New Distributor for the Netherlands

Unitech, the third largest worldwide manufacturer of rugged PDAs, has today announced the appointment of Nedcoding bv as its distributor for the Netherlands.  Nedcoding will stock and sell the full range of Unitech product.

Established two years ago and based in Culemborg, Nedcoding is one of Europes fastest growing Auto-ID and RFID distributors with a turnover of 2million.

Nedcoding is a trade only distributor that sells exclusively to resellers and systems integrators.  It differentiates itself from its competitors by providing its partners with a comprehensive range of leading products combined with exceptional service and support.  Its services include application development, RF site surveys, installation, training, loan / demo stock and end user lead generation programmes to generate leads for its partners to fulfil.  It also provides support for companies new to barcoding and data capture, such as those in the more mainstream IT sector.

One of Nedcodings main objectives is to double its turnover year on year during its first five years of trading.  As part of this strategy Nedcoding has been looking to expand its product offering to enable it to gain access to new partners and new markets.

Unitech sees the appointment of Nedcoding as key to its ability to gain access to new resellers operating in markets that are not being targeted or supported by any of its other partners in the Netherlands.  Nedcoding has developed a strong position supporting the mobility, warehouse management and retail solution providers that Unitech is keen to get exposure with.  Additionally, it is looking to develop relationships with IT resellers, an emerging channel for data capture technologies that both companies are keen to develop.
